Mike’s Story

Hi, my name is Mike, and I work at The Home Depot, where I met Mark from South Beach Prosthetics. He noticed that I was wearing a prosthesis and asked me how comfortable I was with it. After a small chat, he asked me if I would like to come into his office to have a conversation there — and maybe he could make me a more comfortable leg. I did, and after three sessions, I was in heaven with the fit.

My brother Al is very sick and riddled with cancer. I asked him if he would do me a favor and create a picture so I could have it put on my leg as a tattoo. As weak as he is, my brother was able to make one for me, a very personal one indeed. Mark took the picture and had it laminated on the leg. Now, whenever I wear my leg, I have my brother with me.
